Beginning Of Captivity

Ourselves, Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah, entered Babylon at the time of King Nebuchadnezzar.

By Lineage

Hananiah: In Babylon, kingship was by lineage. Any person not from the tribe of the kings could not become a king.

Selfish Ambition

Hananiah: King Nebuchadnezzar wanted to conquer the whole world, but God did not approve of it because of the Israelites.

Meetings And Prayers In Babylon

Hananiah: Son of man, from time to time, we were meeting together, to pray, to discuss various things. To organize our lives in various ways.

As how?

Concerning our daily works rendered to King Nebuchadnezzar, and to various heads of authorities. And if any of us had a problem, he would say it, and the others would help him solve the problem or gave advice.

We consulted God, from time to time, because ourselves knew that once we have started, we have started – no going back till the end of work. Son of man, no mistakes. King Nebuchadnezzar was not tolerating any mistake, because he was a great king, who was respected by the entire world.

We were meeting from time to time. That was our saviour, what saved us.

Challenges

The bible accounts in The Book Of Daniel did not tell you people all the various challenges, which ourselves passed through – endured and overcame, by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Foods And Drinks

But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's delicacies, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the chief of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself. Now God had brought Daniel into the favor and goodwill of the chief of the eunuchs. And the chief of the eunuchs said to Daniel, "I fear my lord the king, who has appointed your food and drink. For why should he see your faces looking worse than the young men who are your age? Then you would endanger my head before the king."

So Daniel said to the steward whom the chief of the eunuchs had set over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, "Please test your servants for ten days, and let them give us vegetables to eat and water to drink. Then let our appearance be examined before you, and the appearance of the young men who eat the portion of the king's delicacies; and as you see fit, so deal with your servants." So he consented with them in this matter, and tested them ten days.

And at the end of ten days their features appeared better and fatter in flesh than all the young men who ate the portion of the king's delicacies. Thus the steward took away their portion of delicacies and the wine that they were to drink, and gave them vegetables.

Hananiah: Just vegetables and water?

Eeeeh?

Myself is asking you a question?

The Head: The conscience of people do not reach, consider or understand these things, because people have being made to accept whatever they are told in the name of God. so, whatever they read in the bible, people just accepted it like that, without doubts and without asking questions. But by so doing, people became fools, because people started accepting whatever religious teachings, beliefs and practices they were told, without first investigating and without inquiring the God, to know which things are true or which are false.

Hananiah: Son of man, truly, truly and truly, it was not only vegetables and water that ourselves were eating and drinking. Fasting was involved.

Hmmm?

The Head: The world do not know.

Hananiah: Ourselves had the foods which we were eating. It was not only vegetables. This was because King Nebuchadnezzar was giving us free time, for ourselves to move about freely. Ourselves cultivated wheat, which we had. Honey was available.

What does honey do in the body?

The Head: It gives many benefits to the body.

Hananiah: Son of man, truly, truly and truly, when we started to eat vegetables, was by the hands of the Angels, according to the instructions of the Angels. It was the Angels that told us to be eating vegetables. But by the way we ewer doing so, for three months, nutrients were not enough. It was as if we were feeling dizzy, because what we were eating were not adequate foods.

The Angels therefore, made corns available to germinate, and made it possible for King Nebuchadnezzar to give us time to walk about in the cornfields.

Many of the selected people did not agree to eat corn, but ourselves were eating it. On many occasions, we were getting honey, the type called wild honey. We used it to support, supplement, our feeding. It was not easy o o.

Marks On The Body

Hananiah: You people were not told that we were given marks on our bodies. The Babylonians were giving marks to all the people selected by King Nebuchadnezzar, so that once people saw the person, they knew that the person was working for King Nebuchadnezzar. They made holes, openings, in our ears and noses, because that was the custom and tradition of the Babylonians.

The Babylonians were drawing tattoos on their bodies, especially by the menfolk. And you people of God know that tattoo is not approved by God Almighty, because it is a demonic mark.

Ointments

Hananiah: Pomades were given to us free. Also, oils came from unworthy sources – from unholy places and prepared in unholy ways. But ourselves were not using those pomades and oils, because they were unholy.

Pagan Celebrations

Hananiah: Festivities were taking place, from time to time. After offering sacrifices to the idols, all the people in exalted positions, who were close to King Nebuchadnezzar, would gather to dine and wine, and rejoice. But ourselves did not accept to eat and drink such foods and drinks.

Facilitation

Hananiah: Son of man, our work was not an easy work. But what made it easy was the promotions which God was giving to Daniel, because of ourselves. God made Daniel to be in exalted positions, because of the children of God in Babylon.

Hmmm?

The Head: Yes.

Hananiah: That was why it was easy for us to keep the rites of holiness. If the position of Daniel were not high, we would be opposed and it would not be possible to keep the rites of holiness.

The Head: That was true.

Cannibalism

Hananiah: The Babylonians were eating a fresh meats, without cooking the meats. But ourselves were not eating the raw meats. When the position of Daniel became exalted, he was bringing out, providing, our foods in his house, because nobody had right to come there.

Prophets And Visioners

As for these four young men, God gave them knowledge and skill in all literature and wisdom; and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.

Now at the end of the days, when the king had said that they should be brought in, the chief of the eunuchs brought them in before Nebuchadnezzar. Then the king interviewed them, and among them all none was found like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah; therefore they served before the king. And in all matters of wisdom and understanding about which the king examined them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers who were in all his realm. Thus Daniel continued until the first year of King Cyrus.

Hananiah: What is written here is not well explained.

Son of man, God gave them wisdom.

Gave them what?

The Head: Learning.

Hananiah: Learning and what?

And understanding.

Why did they not write it in such a way to make it clear for people to understand?

Hananiah: Ourselves had the spirit of vision, to see what was going to happen and when it was going to happen. Ourselves had the spirit of interpretation of dreams, prophecy and messages.

Son of man, ourselves had various talents. It was not the type whereby failures (uchu) were being projected on the children of God nowadays, and the children of God are having bad luck. Bad luck was not for ourselves, because the Angels used Blood of Jesus Christ to wash us.

Blessedness

Hananiah: Wherever we stepped into, wherever we faced, and wherever we turned our back on, ourselves were having good things happening to us: blessings, favours, success and prosperity.

God put power and glory in our body. Also, He put the spirit of understanding and intelligence in us, and ourselves became smarter than our mates, than our peer group.

Prayerfulness

Hananiah: Through prayers, for ourselves were doing prayers from time to time, ourselves were becoming radiant more and more.

Many Were Untrustworthy

Hananiah: The Israelites that entered Babylon with us turned their back on God – they were failing in the Paths Of Righteousness and Covenant System Of Worship. And many were lukewarm. And those making efforts, were doing as much as their strength they could.

Faithfulness

Hananiah: But from time to time, ourselves were reading the Holy Book of God and meditating on it. We observed the Sabbath Day, secretly and silently. Ourselves were remembering the laws of God, which were given to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and to the fore fore fathers.

Son of man, that a person is in a foreign land does not mean that the person shall not be keeping the laws of God. You have to make the necessary efforts which you should make, and the Angels will help you, clear the way for you, and make you a king for you to have power and glory.

The Angels will give you protection. If yourself is not making efforts, but is quenching like fire, the Angels may stand by, waiting for you to become active and steadfast.

Prayers And Ministrations

Hananiah: Son of man, ourselves were praying for many people.

The Head: As ministers of God.

Hananiah: Son of man, what was the cause?

The Head: It was because yourselves had the power of the Holy Spirit.

Hananiah: The Israelites lost the powers of the Holy Spirit. They were quenching like fire. We were making the sick ones to regain their good health. We were blessing holy waters for them, for protection and for good health, because the idols in Babylon were many, numerous. Keeping the rites of holiness was very very rare. Nobody was keeping the rites of holiness.

Fear was common, everywhere, to the extents that the Israelite women were playing various harlots, in order to protect themselves. Bad things, misconducts, were many. Nobody knows what a person would be do, and ‘the police and the army’ would come and arrest the person.

Various Trials

…stood before the king

Hananiah: Son of man, it was not as easy as it is written here. You people do not know the trials which ourselves passed through. The Babylonians were flogging and beating people. Son of man, this was because all the body guards, and all the people in various works and to protect King Nebuchadnezzar’s chamber were many and merciless.

Do you people of God not know this?

The Head: The world do not know.

Hananiah: The bodyguards and officers were bullying people, taking over people’s possessions, persecuting the people, and speaking to people all the various words that should not be spoken, which words were breaking the hearts (okwu na agbawaa obi).

The Head: Humanity do not know all these bad conditions, because they were not made to know.

Hananiah: Son of man, that a person is very very intelligent, that was not intelligence, because many of us who were selected were intelligent.

But why were the case of Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah different?

The Head: It was because the Holy Spirit was using you people to do work.

Hananiah: We had the spirit of patience, and the spirit of endurance, the spirit to endure things very well was in us.

People were complaining. Some were murmuring. Some were rebuking. And with frowns, they stood before the king.

The Head: And such people were being screened out, removed.

Hananiah: But ourselves know that the land of Babylon was not where we supposed to stay in. There was fear. But ourselves were able to with stood, endure it.

Vigilance Is Not Cowardice

Hananiah: You know that vigilance is not cowardice. If you were knowledgeable, before something happens, you will know. But the other Israelites did not know the various things which were going to happen. Ourselves knew and knew our works, and we knew the various places that we should go to. There was nothing being done that was fearful to us. Ourselves were speaking to the King Nebuchadnezzar, we were speaking as people who knew what they were saying, speaking as people who were trustworthy, as people who had no fear.

Forged Bible

Hananiah: But all these facts, above, were not written in the bible book of Daniel.

Minor Qualities

Hananiah: The bible authors just said that our bodies were beautiful. But the body was not used in selecting somebody.

That your body is beautiful does not count, because you have not come to the house of King Nebuchadnezzar to eat foods, so that your body shall be beautiful.

Food is among – because it is essential to health and performance. And your body being good is also among. You should be good looking, beautiful, so that glory shall be perfect. But body beauty is not the major point which King Nebuchadnezzar wanted. There is something a person is looking for in somebody, that makes the person to choose the somebody.

Great Expectations

Hananiah: Son of man, the expectations of King Nebuchadnezzar, what he was looking forward to, were:

1. The people who are well to do.

2. Knowledgeable people, who can help him to promote the kingdom.

3. People that can go and conquer other nations, and bring them as slaves to himself.

4. People who know what will happen now and what shall happen in the future.

5. People who can organize events and things.

6. People who have foresight.

Revelations To King Nebuchadnezzar

Hananiah: The Angels were showing King Nebuchadnezzar dreams about ourselves. But he was not understanding the dreams. Visions were shown to him, from time to time. But each time, when he woke up, and saw us, he knew that there was something special about these four men. But his problem was that he did

Excellent Abilities

Hananiah: Ourselves were answering questions, which the wise men could not answer. Daniel was challenging the wise men. He was not even afraid, because the Angels were with him all the time.

You people do hear that suddenness defies a brave man; and by suddenness a brave man is known (Mberede nyiri dike. Mberede ka eji ama dike.) By our lives, people will know that this statement is true.

Son of man, you people do not know the challenges which we overcame. Sometimes, trembling overwhelmed our bodies (omajijiji). But sometimes, as the case may be, the Angels will open our eyes to seed Angels standing in our midst, we then received the spirit and strength to move forward.

A Habit Of Prayerfulness

Hananiah: But it was not easy for a person to stand before a king, especially when the king is wicked or has great powers. Son of man, before Daniel could stand before King Nebuchadnezzar, for the second time, trembling came upon him. That was why he was constantly praying, to the extent that he told us three to join him in fasting and prayers. Son of man, this is because two heads are beter than one. The prayer of one person is good. But when those praying are many, the prayer becomes hot and radiant – more powerful and effective. Even those who do not have the power of the Holy Spirit, become full of the powers of the Holy Spirit, as more power, strength and conviction are given to them.

Only By Invitation

At that time, there were several chambers to pass through or by, before a person could reach King Nebuchadnezzar’s chamber. Before you could pass by them, you would know what type of thing you passed through. There were many soldiers for the protection of King Nebuchadnezzar, right round, all round. If King Nebuchadnezzar did not give you notice or invitation, and you came by yourself, you would be in great trouble.

Tight Security

But as Daniel crossed the first chamber, his body trembled. He strengthened himself to pass by the second chamber, because merciless warriors and bodyguards were very strict. They could strike a person to death, even so immediately – there and then. They could knock a person to death.

By the grace of God, nobody touched Daniel. They opened the doors for him to pass, until he reached where King Nebuchadnezzar stays. When he came into King Nebuchadnezzar’s chamber, his heart tripped, trembled (obi ọlụlọ mmiri). He felt like fainting. It was not easy to stand before King Nebuchadnezzar.

Possessed By Archdemon

It is good for a person to have courage and faith. Tripping of the heart, trembling, was overwhelming (obi mmapu), because Daniel did not know what would happen. King Nebuchadnezzar was eating human flesh, alive. He was eating raw human flesh. Even when a person was still alive, King Nebuchadnezzar would use knife to be cutting the person’s flesh and be eating it there in the person’s presence. He was possessed by an archdemon, and he was using the blood of such victims, to recharge, re-empower, himself.

Angels At Work

Hananiah: That was why, son of man, when the stage was set (mgbe ọgbajuru dọrọ), the Angels opened Daniel’s eye to see Archangel Gabriel. Archangel Gabriel told him to move forward. It was the Angels that were telling him what he was telling King Nebuchadnezzar.

You people read that the meaning of the dream was revealed to Daniel?

The Head: Yes.

Hananiah: In a dream.

The Head: Yes.

Hananiah: Actually, the meaning was revealed to him. But he was also given the explanation, the interpretation of the dream, through the help of the Angels. That was why Daniel was able to explain the dream.

Yes. As Archangel Gabriel was moving, Daniel was following him behind. That was why Daniel was bold. He was seeing both King Nebuchadnezzar and Archangel Gabriel, while King Nebuchadnezzar, his soldiers and bodyguards were seeing King Nebuchadnezzar and Daniel only.

Daniel knew that he was being protected by a strong and mighty warrior Archangel. Especially against any danger, because King Nebuchadnezzar had wild animals, both hidden and unhidden. Even in the place where you were standing with King Nebuchadnezzar, under his throne could be a beast. Devouring lions were staying on his side, steadily. As well as the people, who withheld the lions.

So, if a person did what he should not do, King Nebuchadnezzar would release one of the wild animals against the person, and the beast would tear the person into pieces, even so immediately. Therefore, there was great fear.

Magicians were seeing and identifying any person, who is an enemy to the king. Once they told King Nebuchadnezzar, “This person will kill the king in the future,” King Nebuchadnezzar would give orders to kill the person immediately. The magician would tell the King Nebuchadnezzar, “In future, this person will conquer you.” And you know that a king does not use his ears to hear such a thing – he would react and destroy such a person immediately, without delays.

Superiority Of The Saints

Hananiah: Daniel did not know what could be the outcome of his going to the presence of the King Nebuchadnezzar. But by the power of God, Daniel was able to stand with bravery, courage and intelligence, by the power of the Holy Spirit, to the extent that King Nebuchadnezzar removed his crown and bowed down to Daniel.

It was at that time, and henceforth, that Daniel had respect. And God removed the spirit of doubt from King Nebuchadnezzar, and from Daniel, because King Nebuchadnezzar did not trust the Israelites. But as soon as he bowed down to Daniel, and rose up, doubt departed from him. He knew that Daniel was trustworthy.
